Order and Purchase Process

Deadline and Payment Methods - After completing the order process in the customer's personal account, the customer has a period, indicated in the selected payment method, to proceed with the payment. At the end of this period, if there is no payment confirmation and the option to send the order to the collection has not been selected, the order will be canceled.

Www.cafemaritaportugal.pt provides the following payment methods for purchases made in the online store:

Credit card
The customer will be able to pay by credit card and enjoy the advantages of liquidity and payment terms offered by his bank.

Is it safe to make an online payment with my credit card?
Www.cafemaritaportugal.pt uses a sophisticated mechanism for detecting and preventing fraudulent actions. Through this solution, it is possible to verify the authenticity of payments made online, while simultaneously safeguarding the integrity and security of customer data, as well as their identification.

This security is made possible by SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology, which encrypts the communications produced between the client's computer and our server, so that they cannot be intercepted. As such, www.cafemaritaportugal.pt reserves the right to refuse payment for an order for a transaction that is considered illegal. Any and all activities considered illegal will be immediately reported to the competent authorities.

3D Secure: 3D Secure is a communication protocol developed to improve the security of online payments and enable the authentication of the credit card user with the bank issuing the same. When making a payment at an online store, a process is launched that checks whether the card used is valid. If so, the security systems associated with the 3D Secure protocol verify the customer's identity, using the credit card issuer in real time. This validates the customer's identity and informs the store's system that the card used is legitimate.

The aim is to protect credit card holders, reducing the likelihood of fraudulent use of their cards and improving transaction performance. This protocol is used by Visa, under the name "Verified By Visa", and by Mastercard, under the name "Secure Code".

How do I pay with a credit card?
After selecting the payment option by credit card and clicking on "Checkout", the customer will be redirected to the page of the entity that ensures the payment transaction, where he must indicate the necessary data of his credit card, namely the number , the expiration date and the security code, and click on the "I validate my payment" button.

If payment is declined, a message will be displayed to the customer indicating the error found in their shopping cart window. In these situations, we suggest the customer to try again and, if the problem persists, we recommend that you contact your bank or credit card issuer for more information.

Once payment is made, the amount will be debited from the customer's credit card account. If, for any reason, there is a need to cancel the order, in whole or in part, the corresponding amount will be refunded within five working days. The transaction will be reflected in the customer's card statement after three business days from the date it was made.

Warning: Payments are always made in euros, even when prices are shown in other currencies. Some bank entities may charge exchange rates. Café Marita Portugal.pt is totally unaware of this fact and does not assume any responsibility for it.

PayPal
PayPal payment is a secure method used worldwide. For more information on this payment method, visit www.paypal.com.

Save data for future Paypal transactions

When subscribing to this option, the customer will not need to access the PayPal page in a next purchase. The amount of the purchase in question will be automatically debited from the PayPal account used when subscribing this option.

At any time, the customer can access the PayPal account and remove this option. To do this, you must access the menus Profile> My money> My pre-approved payments. There, all pre-approved payments will appear and you just need to cancel the payment associated with Café Marita Portugal.pt.

Note: Café Marita Portugal.pt does not store any login data for the customer's PayPal account.

ATM
ATM payments can be made through the ATM network or through your Homebanking.

When finalizing your order, an ATM reference will be generated. The customer will receive this reference in the order confirmation email, although it is also available under "Order details", under the "Orders" tab in the customer's Café Marita Portugal.pt account.

To pay at an ATM, the customer must select the "Payment for Services / Purchases" option and enter the corresponding entity, reference and amount.

The order will be expected to be dispatched on the same day, if payment is made by 2 pm on a business day. Orders paid after that time will be expected to be dispatched the next business day.

Warning: once the bank reference generated for payment has a limited validity, if payment is not made within this period, the order will be canceled.

Payment Collection
When choosing the payment on charge, the customer will only have to pay the order upon delivery.

Orders placed with this payment method are limited to a maximum value of € 250.00.

Payment, depending on the freight forwarder, can be made by debit card or in cash. If you choose to pay in cash, you will have to provide the exact amount of the charge, as the couriers are not required to have change. It should be noted that, if the amount paid is higher than the amount charged, the customer will risk losing the amount of the difference and Café Marita Portugal.pt has no responsibility for this fact.

Café Marita Portugal.pt reserves the right to cancel an order with payment option if the customer's history shows previous orders registered with the same payment method and not delivered by the customer. The customer may, however, register a new order by selecting another of the available payment methods.

This payment method may involve an increase of 24 hours in the delivery of the order.

Warning: The option to send the collection may incur an additional cost to be charged by the selected forwarder.



DELIVERY PROCESS

Once the order has been shipped, the customer will receive a confirmation email with the respective invoice, the assigned shipping number and a link so that he can track the order on the carrier's website.

The customer may also have access to that link, by logging into his account and clicking on the "Orders" tab, available on the page presented when he starts his session. By clicking on an order line in the left-hand column, "Order history", you will be provided with all information about it in the right-hand column called "Order details", including the link mentioned above.

Attempting to track the order online upon receipt of the shipping confirmation email may not return any results. The shipping information can take up to 24 hours, counted from the receipt of the shipment confirmation, to be updated on the carrier's website without any liability being attributed to Café Marita Portugal.pt.

Orders are delivered Monday through Friday, with the exception of local or national holidays, to the address the customer indicates when placing orders.

The customer can receive the order wherever he wishes (except in PO boxes). To do this, just provide the address where you will be present between 9 am and 7 pm of the scheduled delivery date. An attempt will be made to deliver to the address indicated by the customer by a courier of the chosen transport service.

Warning: It is not possible to choose a specific delivery time, as it will be conditioned by the courier route on the day of delivery, which is defined by the transport service.

Providing an incorrect or incomplete delivery address may result in the order being returned to Café Marita Portugal.pt and may result in additional costs for the customer, so it is recommended that the customer always make sure that the delivery address indicated when registering the order. order is effectively correct and complete. Once the order is registered, it is not possible to change the delivery address or the indicated billing data.

Www.cafemaritaportugal.pt offers the following delivery services:

Chronopost
For orders with a delivery address in Mainland Portugal and Islands, the customer can opt for the Pick Me service, the order being sent to the collection point that you chose when you registered it.

As soon as it is received at the collection point, the recipient of the order will receive an SMS at the mobile phone number indicated for the delivery of the order, informing that it is available for collection. The recipient will have 10 days to collect the order. After this period, the order will be returned to Café Marita Portugal.pt.

For orders with a delivery address in Portugal, the customer can opt for the Chronopost Islands service. This service is only available for orders weighing up to 10 kg and, if the payment method chosen was payment by collection, this should preferably be done by Multibanco when collecting the order.

DHL
If the customer chooses the DHL service, the order will be sent to the address selected in the registration.

In case of absence at the delivery address, a notice will be left to the recipient indicating the possibility of contacting the agency responsible for delivering the order or to the general DHL number, in order to schedule a new delivery attempt on the date that suits you. The recipient has a period of 5 working days to contact the carrier and schedule a new delivery attempt. If you do not do so within the specified period, the order will be returned to www.cafemaritaportugal.pt.

Nacex
If the customer chooses the Nacex service, the order will be sent to the address selected in the registration.

In case of absence at the delivery address, a notice will be left to the recipient indicating the possibility of contacting the agency responsible for delivering the order or to the general number of Nacex, in order to schedule a new delivery attempt on the date that suits you. The recipient has a period of 5 working days to contact the carrier and schedule a new delivery attempt. Orders registered for collection can be paid by debit card or in cash. All couriers have a terminal (TPA) for payments by bank card. If you choose to pay in cash, you will have to provide the exact amount of the charge, as couriers are not required to have change. If the amount paid is higher than the charge, the customer will risk losing the difference in price.

CTT
If the customer opts for the CTT service, the order will be sent to the address selected in the registration.

In the event of absence, a notification will be left for the recipient to pick up the parcel at the post office in their area of residence. The deadline for collecting the order is three working days from the date of the attempted delivery. If the recipient is unable to collect the order in person, it can be collected by a third party, provided that the notification is signed according to your identity card or citizen card and a copy of this identification document is presented for verification. If the order is not collected within three working days, it will be returned to www.cafemaritaportugal.pt

If the delivery address indicated by the customer is incorrect or incomplete, the courier of CTT will have no way of leaving a notification to the customer, so the order will immediately go into the return process to www.cafemaritaportugal.pt

Orders registered to the collection must be paid in cash and in the exact amount of the collection, since the couriers are not obliged to have change. If the amount paid is higher than the charge, the customer will risk losing the difference in price.

NOTICE: Unlike the other carriers that deliver to the address indicated by the customer between 9:00 am and 7:00 pm, CTT does so only between 8:00 am and 1:00 pm.

SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping costs are automatically calculated by our system and depend on the following factors:

actual or volumetric weight of the order (whichever is higher);
order value (within the scope of promotional campaigns, a free delivery service can be made available for orders of € 100.00 or more * **);
carriers' tariffs, which undergo periodic updates.
Shipping costs are automatically updated as the customer adds items to the shopping cart.

* Offer valid only for Mainland Portugal.

** Regardless of the minimum value established for obtaining free delivery service, some countries may present a minimum value per order. It is not possible to register an order with a value lower than that previously indicated.
